An exfoliating scrub that combines the enzymatic action of Papain (an enzyme that stimulates exfoliation by breaking the bond between corneocytes, i.e., the cells that make up the upper layer of the epidermis, and promoting their removal) and the mechanical action of very fine microgranules of Apricot kernel. Smoother Skin also contains NMF ions and amino acids to achieve optimal papain release while maintaining the barrier function of the epidermis. It acts as an adjuvant for the treatment of acne.
APRICOCK Kernel: Apricot seed extract is obtained from the fruit of Prunus armeniaca. This extract has a superficial exfoliating effect. Due to the grain size of its particles, it is ideal for removing dead skin cells without irritating the skin.
PAPAINE:An enzyme naturally present in papaya, with marked keratolytic properties. It promotes the breakdown of stratum corneum proteins into smaller fragments thereby stimulating exfoliation, has an antiaging action, and attenuates skin blemishes.
