MANDELIC ACID: It is an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from the hydrolysis of a bitter almond extract. Mandelic acid is particularly active in repairing and reactivating aged skin, also possessing inherent depigmenting properties.
KOJIC ACID: The main characteristic of its action is due to the fact that, penetrating deeply, it blocks the enzymes that cause melanin to form and attacks the melanin that has already formed by decolorizing it, thus lightening the spots. The use of Kojic Acid is important in the treatment of wrinkles in cases of skin senescence where it is effective in stimulating and reviving skin tone, acting at the level of the stratum corneum.
PHYTIC ACID: Phytic acid is normally present in the human cell. It is a natural product that is extracted from rice husks and is used in cosmetics for its skin-lightening, antioxidant, soothing and chelating properties.
